WOW! Been a while, I guess...

September 6th, holy smokes... I know there have been lots of things to blog about since then! I guess that's what I get for putting all my thoughts and feelings on my Facebook status! LOL! Quick update: We sold our first home and are now in a much bigger, much nicer home. We moved in a week before Christmas and we are loving every minute! THe best part it: it never was a day care and never will be. It is truly home! Tommy is still at the Sheriff's Department, slaving away... I only wish I could type sarcasm.... he has the best job ever! Sydney is wrapping up her 1st grade year at school and is very excited about 2nd grade! The only thing more exciting to her is summer break, and I have to admit I'm pretty dang excited about it myself. It has been a long school year!! Tommy bought me a wonderful gift this year: my 2009 triple black Beetle convertible... guess he got tired of me asking and finally said, "FINE!" LOL! I love that car! I can't wait to put the top down and go cruisin' through the Hill Country this summer! I'm still at Seminole Elementary, still a 5th grade resource aide, but I have been told my title for next year is going to be Support Facilitator. Same basic duties (only I'll be in an inclusion classroom), different name, no pay raise (shucks!) Soon, I'm going to be embarking on an entreprenuer venture that I'm hoping will allow me to (one day) be able to work around my family's schedule. I'm not going to give any details just yet, as I have not officially began this journey, but I look forward to sharing my exciting news soon! So until then....
